I haven't been posting
in my blog very much lately because I'm in the final
(hopefully final) revision of a manuscript that now
has an ending. I've also been busy with my
part time job, as well as building and maintaining a
new website (more on that to come).
My personal life is
improving. For friends who haven't seen
updates via e-mail, my husband is now officially history.
Onward to
building a new life for myself and kids, not looking
back.

This is a cool
website:
100 Common Mistakes - see how many you can
answer correctly. I managed to get 95 correct
(okay, so I was bored at work).

I cannot believe the
turmoil the Middle East is in nowadays. The
world's "balance" is off in that it affects so many
other areas of the world. Sadly, it all seems
to be in the name of religion, who is right, whose
morals should be adhered to, etc. I wonder if
there will ever be a true "free" world? As
long as there are people trying to control each
other with religion, there will always be war.
As long as someone thinks their way is better (Bush
and the collective right), there will always be
rebellion.
I look at Israel and
think to myself, okay you may have been justified
to send over a few bombs - but to kill hundreds of
innocent people - children even? Can't
they find some other way of resolving their issues?
Interesting how the US has been inactive in securing
peace in that area. But Bush has been
determined to "democracize" other countries.
Look at Cuba; same thing. I have to wonder how
many people would still be alive today if Bush had
chosen a more peaceful means of gaining his oil?
Wouldn't it have been cheaper to just send over
money and buy it?
